Peter & Paul Catholic Church Wednesday as individuals lined up to get a taste of the Boonville Kiwanis Club's Chili Day fundraiser. A recipe handed down for generations, more than 500 individuals stopped by for a bowl either during their lunch or dinner.

Knights of Columbus host annual public safety chili feed

For many years the Knights of Columbus Hall at 718 1/2 N. Broadway was the site of an annual chili/soup feed honoring local firefighters, police and other public servants. The hall is gone now, demolished after sustaining severe smoke and water damage from a fire that destroyed two neighboring buildings, but that didn’t stop the Knights from continuing their tradition Monday night.
